The Stables

"Had a great stay at The Stables as part of visiting the Nottingham area. Becky was a great host and ensured we had all the information we needed to make our stay as easy as possible. She ensured that we had clear instructions on how to find the property and also how we could check in. She popped round in the evening to check all was OK. "Second visit to the Stables and it’s everything we remember from our first. The accommodation itself is very spacious and so comfortable, perfect for chilling out after a long day out exploring. Location is private and yet a minute or so and you’re bang smack in the middle of Southwell. Communication from the host was first class and you can see the pride Becky takes in ensuring everything has been catered for throughout the property. "Simply the best! We have stayed at many apartments but this was as good as it gets. The location is central - 2 minutes to the cathedral & shops - but quiet. The reserved parking space is within 2 metres of the door so loading and unloading was simple. The flat was very spacious and well-equipped (especially for the two of us) and airy with comfortable furniture and the decor was quaint and modern at the same time . Everything was in perfect condition. Becky was attentive and even called in just to make sure that all was well." - Peter, July 2022

Cedar Place

"We were attending a family wedding nearby and Becky's house was large enough to easily accommodate our party of six adults. The kitchen was well equipped and our every need had been anticipated. The showers were excellent with good pressure and plenty of hot water. We really appreciated the tea, coffee, milk, biscuits etc that Becky provided. "Spotlessly clean, really comfortable, well equipped kitchen, toiletries included, washing up stuff provided, dishwasher and washing machine all spotless. Beds very comfortable. Bathroom and the en-suite spotless and well fitted out. Parking excellent and the drive for off road parking was large. The garden was lovely in the sunshine with an open decking and a shaded area too. Nice touch with milk and cookies and a bottle of cold water in the fridge. Also tea and coffee supplied and a filter coffee machine. Best holiday home I’ve stayed in. Easy walk to the shops as well as the town centre and the minster. Also the cycle/walking greenway is almost on the doorstep. Lastly it was so quiet and peaceful in that location." - Pete, May 2023

"I stayed here with my family as we were attending a wedding at Norwood Park, perfect location for this at just a 3 minute drive away. Our stay here was faultless. From an easy check in and out process to all the little extras taken care of. On our arrival there was milk in the fridge, a selection of teas and coffee along with some beautiful local apple juice and a sweet treat each! Towels are provided, there is the option of different pillows and duvet togs which I thought was a fabulous touch and something we’ve never had before! There’s a selection of games and DVDs in the living room to choose from. This stay truly was home from home. Thank you to Becky for making our stay so wonderful." - Natalie, November 2022
